LFF Action to Honor 23 Outstanding Legislators
ABITA SPRINGS, La.- Mike Strain, a Doctor of Veterinarian Medicine and state representative from St. Tammany Parish, will be 1 among 23 legislators honored with "Outstanding Family Advocate" awards from the Louisiana Family Forum Action.
Sixteen State Representatives and seven State Senators will receive the “Outstanding Family Advocate” Award from Louisiana Family Forum Action, the advocacy arm of Louisiana Family Forum, in recognition of their commendable pro-family voting records during the 2007 Legislative Session. The awards will be issued during a special gathering before the next Regular Legislative Session.
"LFF Action commends these lawmakers for their principled positions in the 2007 Session. This session presented several unique opportunities for reform in Louisiana. We are proud of these lawmakers for making excellent choices and continuing to uphold strong family values in Louisiana," remarked Gene Mills, president of LFF Action.
