Mike Strain announced today that U.S. Senator David Vitter has joined his campaign to reform the Department of Agriculture and Forestry.
“I want to reform the Department of Agriculture and Forestry, build a stronger farming economy, and restore integrity to an office that has been in a downward spiral under Bob Odom’s reign,” said Strain. “I’m honored to announce that U.S. Senator David Vitter, a reform minded, bold leader has joined my campaign.”
Vitter has agreed to host a fundraiser for Strain in Baton Rouge on June 4th and issued the following statement in support of Mike’s campaign for Commissioner of Agriculture and Forestry.
“To move Louisiana forward we must move beyond our past of cronyism and corruption. We must support leaders we can trust and be proud of. Join me in supporting Mike Strain for Agriculture Commissioner and let’s get started in making Louisiana a better place – a place we can all be proud to call home.”- U.S. Senator David Vitter
